		<description>I happen to agree, Bill.  It is frustrating to get cold calls from vendors that I have not dealt with before, particularly at the reference desk, or when you&#039;re in the middle of something else.  However, just like telemarketers, they&#039;re only trying to do their jobs.

In my example above, one of the vendors did in fact fit this bill.  He was quite persistent, and as it turned out, I bought his product.  He&#039;s been very supportive since we bought the product, and I believe it is because we were courteous with each other from the start.
